Listed companies therefore have to meet requirements set out in its Admission and Disclosure standards and undergo extensive regulatory and compliance checks.

The ISE is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulations (MiFID), and is a member of the World Federation of Exchanges and the Federation of European Stock Exchanges.

All UK residents who meet HMRC rules for tax purposes and are older than 18 years of age are eligible for investing in ISAs. We also offer Junior Stocks & Shares ISA available for any child under the age of 18 (children aged 16 and 17 can open their own Junior ISA as well as an adult) who is UK resident .

The Stocks & Shares ISA allowance for the tax year 2018/19 is £20,000 based on current UK tax law. For a Junior Stocks & Shares ISA the limit is £4,260.

Each tax year you can invest up to your full annual subscription limit in a Stocks and Shares ISA. You can transfer your existing ISA to whatever amount you currently have invested. It is important to remember that you cannot currently subscribe to more than one ISA of the same type in the same tax year (although you may invest separately in a Stocks and Shares ISA and a Cash ISA). This is based on current tax legislation and is subject to change.
